Rusty Preston trapper, just over 3 1/2 closed, 2 3/4 blades of 154cm. Mammoth scales. Firm action with half stops. A very nice slip!




 
File work is OUTSTANDING and the scales are great, thanks for sharing. I will be watching for more of his work.

Wow, that's very nice. I agree, the file work is better then pretty much any I've seen.
 
That's a beautiful piece. You can definitely see Bill Ruple's influence in the file work.
 
A beautiful piece of work from Mr. Preston (who also happens to be a great guy!) As soon as you see that filework it's obvious that Rusty was a student of Bill Ruple (as was another of my favorite makers, Don Morrow) :D )
 
WOW....it doesn't get any better than that! That has to be the nicest folder I've seen on this forum. Congrats....I'm definitely jealous. :thumbup:
 
Thats a piece of art, great looking file work and the scales are as purty as they come.
This could very likely be the best executed file work I've seen so far.
