These are beautiful pieces of functional art, folks. I love mine. I did not know Rusty very well, but I knew him well enough to be honored to pack one of the gems baring his name around with me. Wonderfully handy to have on you. I even made low-rise boot sheath for hide away carry. We all know how found Rusty was of back ups;)

Snap these up quick. Whether they ride on your belt everyday or they are placed on silk in your safe, they will not disappoint.

Yangdu,
Could I have the, 8 inch 3 ounce RSD with chandan wood handle.
E-Mail to follow.
Thanks

Edited : Had to add a couple photos of this sweet little blade.;)

Very pretty! First ones coming in with black sheaths. I like the chandan ones.

Mine arrived on Sat. This blade is AWESOME!! Everyone before me has stated better than I could just how nice these are but it bears repeating.
Mine came in polished to the max. It had a hair scraping edge. There was a nice secondary bevel that matches my Sharpmaker so a few passes on it and I have a hair popping edge! The sheath is a nice black leather that seems to be fitted very nicely to the blade. The Chandan wood is beautiful.
It brought out rhe tiny woodchuck in me and I went at it starting with 180 up through to 1200 then its first coat of linseed oil. WOW:eek: This a beautiful piece of wood.
Yangdu, I thank You for this wonderful knife. It will likely reside next to the khuk I got from Rusty's widow. A great memorial blade. I will cherish it.
Later I will need to get a horn one also.
This IS a GREAT knife!!:D

I know from talking to Yangdu that to get this forumite designed knife down close to the demands of the specs required more labor time then might be thought. Labor equals price, not only weight and size. And I also know my late Friend Rusty would approve of the design, as it is a classic 'back up'.

I'm surprised these haven't flown out of here quicker. Understated class.

It is not always with a great rush that the Great White feeds.
Sometimes he will gently brush his prey as if giving it every chance to escape . As if nudging it towards safety . When it seems that sanctuary is within reach a gentle tug is felt and then .... nothingness .

Take one home Kevin. You know you want to.!! HeHe You will NOT regret it, of that I am sure.:D ;)
