you do one helluva lot of good things for HI and for the forum. Over 5 years, and a gazillion posts, a lot of stress, and demands for research to check things out to make sure they are credible...largely unheralded.

Thank you...for all past, current, and (hopefully) future...efforts. Bill may be the heart of HI, but you are certainly part of the soul.

Not only ditto, but you have always been inside the Heart of this great place and complimented Bill's philosophy very much. As Bill has health problems, I encourage you to not only continue the role of guide/heart/spirit around here, but to assume what is yours and that which we share. I can't see HI very well without you. I could try, but I just can't see very well. You're the HI voice, the senior Moderator for me.

I've told you privately how wonderful your initial posts were to Rene, and they really could be used as a example of what good judgement is. You asked us to test our khuks. You turned a difficult thread into a positive. That kind of good judgement is hard to find.

Well said, all.
I am very lucky to have stumbled into this cantina one night. Drunk as I was then, I knew this was a very special place.

I hope in time I also develop "the sixth sense" you guys have for this "situations". Excellently done.

"I see troll people” :) :) :D :) :)

Thanks, Rusty, for all you do around here. I can't imagine what the Cantina would be like without you.

I'll add my congrats and thanks to Rusty as well. The Cantina would not be the same with out him.

Hayv!!!! Rusty always does his duty with the same honor and respect for everyone. Rusty deserves all the accolades he gets.

Much very sincere thanks to all. I was just expressing astonishment on realizing that it had been so long.

While I'll cherish your sentiments, I'm glad in the first place to have helped Uncle Bill keep Himalayan Imports going and funneling money to the kamis, their helpers, their families - one of Bill's guesses is that HI's clients manage to keep over a hundred Nepali people fed, housed, clothed, and in one way or another to get necessities.

In the second place, it's also been rewarding to be part of what makes this a community; a family; and a haven to many of us. It's worth it seeing good people in here rising to whatever the occasion and offering comfort to those who need it.

In the third place I really gotta get my new printer hooked up so I can print all these expressions of good will and thanks out.

PS: for all the above reasons I think I'll take ample satisfaction in having stayed around.

Another ditto to you, sir. Thank you for all that you do for Bill and for us.

I'll post here just to get my name immortalized on 8 1/2" x 11" paper. :)

Thanks for not banning me.

Been shunned from the company of civilized men for some time, Bruise?

When it gets really bad they'll send you official notice. I'll show you mine, if you want.
