Thanks.

I've got a few Canons,...a 20D, a 30D, and a 1D. Usually use the 50mm Macro lens for this kind of photography, but it's really the lighting that makes them look good.;)

hey ted... you know who that kami mark belongs to?
what is it? a carrot lol :D

i knew you'd say canon.

i believe vim uses the four ray sun. the torch may be part of the design, like an eternal flame. fitting since this is a tribute model.

Great picture, thank you Ted

The four ray sun is on every HI blade no matter the kami. I believe it either stands for HI or blessing. Not sure which. I have a few blades that have the torch mark on them. WAS pretty sure it was Vim until now.

oh, foolish me.

my bgrs is by vim and the only things on it are the sun and nepal's flag. no torch.

it says on the factory website that the four point full sun are the kami marks of Jag and Prem. pre-2002 it may have been used by sher if that was the same full sun.

you don't sleep either, eh? it's almost 6AM over here. i've got knifesomnia.

Congrats Ted. The Rusty Special Sgian Dubh is my favorite HI small blades now. I love mine. The thinner blade stock makes it a real great slicer compared to some of the thicker small blades.

They really are a great utility blade. The design feels super-comfortable in the hand. If you don't have one: you want one.

Great photography as always Ted.

Great photos Ted. I will have to pick one of these up some time.

The current torch mark is used by kami Yuvraj. Vim uses the nepal flag.

Yep, Yuvraj is it, and he has made all of these. That looks like some nice neem wood there Ted. Fantastic photos.
