Here's my latest offering....Loveless style dropped hunter with a 3 3/4" blade of RWL-34, 8" overall. Carbon fibre handle (thanks Rick;)) with dark red fibre liners. The sheath is pre-dyed 9 oz leather as requested by the customer and along with the RWL-34 is a first for me.
I said once that I'd never use stainless as I like to do all the work my self. Well...in the words of Arnold Schwarznegger....I lied.;):D

Ha ha!!!!...yeah I know....I still can't quite believe it either.

I hit my head a couple of weeks back...maybe that's finally pushed my brain into the 20th century....next step, the 21st.;)

Very nice work!! Maybe some day I will get to try out so RWL-34 for myself. I've heard it's pretty hard to come by here in the states.

Hi Ian,

Although I won't comment on every knife you post, I make sure I stop in and ogle them for a while. You have one part quality handmade knife and two parts character affability. ;) I love your honesty and humorous intent.

My take: You will be shutting down custom orders soon. That's a good thing. Those who do and then simply offer what comes out of the workshop are in an enviable place.

I wish you well. :)

Thanks mate...one part quality handmade knife and two parts character affability...I like that, thank you very much.

As far as orders go, I feel like I'm in a very lucky place. As you know, my main love is making Loveless style knives. I can't remember off hand the last time I was asked for anything other than a Loveless style, or at least something very similar, so I consider myself honoured....making what I want and what other people want too!!

There is one change I'd like to make though....and that's to make another part of myself 'half decent photographer' rather than my usual 'Stevie Wonder on a rollercoaster with a Box Brownie' style.;)

Still, it's always nice when people recieve their knife and say it looks better than in the pictures....every cloud has a silver lining I guess!:D

Sparrow75...thanks mate.;)

Cheers,

Ian
