Does anyone out there have a knife with RWL34 Swedish powdered steel--60Hrc?

I just ordered a one handed opening custom laguiole featuring this steel from Fontinelle-Pataud. I wanted to hear some feedback on it.

Thanks

This is CM154 made using PM technology. This stel in use by European knifemakers for long time. Now Crucible in attempt to compete with Japanese ZDP-189 came up with CPM154 which what RWL-34 is.

Thanks, Vassili.

I have a AFCK replica made from it and was surprised about the edge it took. I never noticed microchips like i had noticed on other stainless.

It took a far better push cutting edge than S30V and hold this edge longer than 154CM. I was bored about how little maintance that edge needed.:D

On edge angles above 30° included it is great stuff. Lower angels (less than 30° included) as good as many, i guess there are better steel grades.

i loved that material, i have a folder and a nessie made out of that and is awesome , it keeps its sharpness and is easy to work with imo
