RWS Model 9B pellet pistol users?

I have one. It's fun. Great way to shoot tons of pellets in an afternoon. It's not quiet though. Satisfies my need for power in an air pistol. Makes for great firearms training - accurate, does jerk a little during firing. Sturdy constuction, too.

Does it kick back like a regular gun or forward like some spring piston guns? How do you cock it? How do you adjust the rear sight?

I've got a model 6. Lots of fun. Tough spring for young 'uns to cock, but accurate, yes. Mine has a reversed piston so the recoil of the shot cancels against the piston. It does a kind of weightless jiggle. Weird.

The RWS is a recoilless German target pistol. It's a lot pricier than the 9 and heavier also since it has dual pistons inside which fire off in opposite directions that cancel the felt recoil, this is a design that has been around for years. The trigger on the 6 also has multiple adjustments for better control. The 9 is made in Spain and is a sporter pistol that has the recoil that most spring piston guns will have.
