Honestly, they look just like every other mall-ninja "tactical" knife on the market. They might be the very best knives ever made, I don't know, I've never handled one. But aesthetically and design-wise, they don't stand out.

No offense to the maker, surely a fine person. Just not my style of knife.

Best Wishes,

Well I don't think that they look like just any other knife at all... but then I ordered a Combat Elite RRF a couple of days ago, so maybe I'm not the one to ask. I think the design is beautiful, not to mention that it's a Titanium framelock with a CPM S30V blade and a nice machined G10 inlay. For $200, I'm thinking it's worth every dang penny.

I'm planning on ordering one in a couple months. Not because it's all that original or "exciting", but it looks to be well-made and useful. There's not a new knife design under the sun anyway.

Look nice and functional to me.The Model 1's look a little like Randall's.

Design-wise, I fell in love with his "Model 2" when it came out in Tac. Knives several years ago. Looks bare-bones traditional and functional. Plus his design collabs with Darrel Ralph ain't so bad either (understatement intended).

I too love the Combat Elite RRF and am hoping (please, please Santa), that there is one under the tree! I like many of the Combat Elite knives!! I am a huge Darrell Ralph fan.

I think some of his fixed blades look pretty classy. But I am generally not into the heavy tactical look, so his folders, and some of his fixed blades as well, do not appeal to me visually.

Looks aside, some of his (and DR's) Combat Elite folders are on my long "to buy" list as I like beefy, strong folders. But they aren't on my short list. Not for lack of quality, though, just because they aren't my style.

I have handled the RRF and I liked it, its a nice simple design that comes in a framelock. Like some of you this knife is on my list but like hair said.....its not on my short list.
