I have been working on a design for a guardless fighter, I got some input from some great people here on Bladeforums. I have started working on two of them, one with a clip and one without. I am finishing up the clip less one...
A few WIP Photos:

EDIT: Sorry forgot specs:
Steel: 3/16" 1095
OAL: 14"

I have started work on the "Clipped" one and should have it finished up Late Sunday before I head out of town! I will update here.

I would love to hear your comments, as usual!

Ryan, that notch turned out to look pretty awesome. I think the swedged clip will take this design over the top.
My mind's eye sees dovetailed, metal bolsters, (bronze would look great with that ironwood), maybe with subtle fluting, maybe with some engraving.
Point is, this is a GREAT platform for trying new and more advanced embellishments. It's a wonderful, solid pattern in itself. Might even get you into trouble- the good kind.
The hidden pin scale attachment does a lot to keep things flowing.

I really appreciate all the comments, Didn't want to leave anyone out so I apologize for the repetitive comment posting!

Sexy lines and really like what you did with the Spanish notch. Great job!
I really appreciate that Mike, you know how I feel about your work and opinion. Even if you think the "W" in RyanW stands for "Warp" haha

I like it Ryan like Mike Q said sexy lines
thanks Mike, I got the SanMai Billets in the mail today and will try to get some profile work done before I leave.

Sexy indeed.
Thanks E. Sexy is good

You are killing me buddy, just so people know. I reached out to Lorien to help improve on this design, he always gives me great suggestions. I am going to have to save the Advanced embellishments for another time since time is very limited on this girls sister.

Very nice! Great handle and the Spanish notch is something else!
Spanish notch was Lorien's suggestion and I think it really adds to the overall look

Very nice lines and execution. Will look forward to seeing it in Eugene. Todd
Thanks Todd, It was nice meeting you in Boise. I look forward to talking to you again in Oregon.

That is quite beautiful. I like it - especially the use of multiple woods in the handle. Very nice.

I love it man! I think that's my favorite knife of yours I've seen yet! Love the flow and the hamon, the contrast in the handle is great. The only thing I think I'd rather see is a bit more symmetry in the pins on the handles.

Thanks Michael and Mr. Clean! I appreciate it.

I am close to finishing up the second knife of this set. This one has a few changes from the original: Clip, Shortened Handle by .5", More defined handle Contouring. I would love to hear your comments

Specs:
Steel: 3/16" 1095
OAL: 13.5"
Blade: 8.5"
Handle: Stabilized KOA (Thanks Mark)

#2 is a winna!!!

Both look great.
But I really like the clip on the Koa one.
Thanks Mark, This KOA that I got from you is amazing. I am actually going to get 2 knives worth out of the block. Thanks again for providing some great materials! see you at OKCA

#2 is a winna!!!
Thanks Lorien you were right on the clip and not going with the hidden pins on this one!

Ryan, seriously good job on these. You nailed them both. Can't decide which I like better but surely your best work to date.

You're bringing it man. Can't wait to check these out. Nice work.

Ryan, number 2 is sweet!! I love 'em both, but you know I'm a sucker for a good swedge and you did an amazing job on that one. Really good stuff!

Thanks again everyone for the comments. I like the handle on #1 and the blade on #2 as well!

John I am going to have you take a close look at them in Oregon!

Here is a better look at Knife #2 Handle
