Simple question > Are the larger sak's supposed to come with a sheath? I was going to buy one today at Lowes.I cant remember what model,but it had alot of stuff. So when I was checking it out pre-purchase I asked the guy for the sheath.He said it didnt come with one. NO SALE! that was just to large for a jeans pocket. Any info would be great.. Thanks,Scott
 
None of mine have come with sheaths. I think you have to buy them separately if you want them. If you wear jeans, you can always slip your SAK into the watch pocket. Even my SwissChamp fits in the watch pocket of my jeans, albeit a bit tightly.

A sheath is usually not included with the knife. However, sometimes you will find SAKs blister packed with sheaths. These are usually at the larger discount stores.

I have only seen the sheaths as add-on accessories.

I like to carry my heavier SAKs and multitools vertically in my rear pants pocket, against the outside seam. Works for me, might work for you, depending on anatomy...;)
 
My Swiss Champ purchased around 86 came with a leather sheath and sharpening stone. It was the box set one.
