S--L--O--W as ...

FWIW, times required to load pages are the s l o w e s t I've ever seen here. It is taking literally minutes for a page to appear. I've got a dual ISDN connection (230,400 bps) & I'm not experiencing problems anywhere else on the Net.

Is this a function of heavy usage or is something else at work here?

Your connection speed has nothing to do with the server problems we are have. I have 2 way cable here and I am getting the same thing.

We are working on the problem.

Hopefully over the weekend we will have a fix. We may need to take the server off line while we reset the Kernel and other options. And hopefully RadHat will have our software back to us for the upgrade!
