I have a question about the Schatt and Morgan Cotton Sampler knife. In Bernard Levines 4,he has a page on this pattern, obviously showing older knives.None of them, have a hole through the scales, like the S&M does.Is there a slipjiont sharpie who can explain this, without adding to the numerous questions that B.L. has on his plate? Any info would be appreciated,as I havn't a clue. Thanks up front,Vince

Vince,

I was looking around for information about cotton sampler knives and stumbled upon this quote at the Shepherd Hills Cutlery knife news section. I don't know how accurate it is but it may be that the Case/Tony Bose for '06 will be a cotton sampler.

"As debuted at the Shepherd Hills Celebration in the Ozarks 2005, the Tony Bose knife for 2006 will be the Cotton Sampler......excitement is building as we await the arrival of this latest Tony Bose endeavor....There is never a "dull" moment with Tony*and we don't expect any less on this new offering........a genuine Master at*his craft."

Thomason,Thank You for attempting to find info on this pattern.I tried myself to find a photo,of a S&M Cotton Sampler knife,to show the holes in the knife. If anyone has one,and or could post a picture of the knife,it would help,to show exactly what my question is.The blade does not pass the hole when it's closed,if it's for a lanyard,it seems to be in an odd spot.I may just have to post under B.L.'s forum.
