I have been looking for a MM a while now, and want it in sambar stag. I am also interested in a sway belly trap. in s. stag. Where can I find, if at all, such knives?

You mean something like these?

Sorry -- I couldn't resist. :D

I got the Mountain Man at Cumberland. The sayback is a Fightn Bull, made by Wendell Carson from Queen parts. He sells on ebay under the name knifeman110. I've seen a few more like this one being sold by him since I bought mine a few years ago.

Good luck!

Well, I know about the Queen's version, I was hoping to find one made by S&M. I have never seen the f'bull brad before, looks nice.

I have seen S&M swaybacks, but not in sambar stag. If I had to guess I'd say they haven't made one.

Regards,

Jim

Edited: I'm sure that Bill Horn, who owns Cumberland Knife Works could tell you whether these patterns with sambar stag have ever been offered by Schatt & Morgan. I'm sure he'd know, and he's a very helpful guy. As indicated above the website is http://www.cumberlandknifeworks.com
