Last month I re-upped for 2 years. This was when I got my first notice that expiration was a month away . I have watched the countown every day, knowing we were covered. Last night we lost coverage .

Plowing through the maze of why's & wherefore's , finally found a way to message them.No reply . Almost 24 hours later, still getting dire warnings! Cannot find a phone number to work this out but DID find that this is one BIG A$$ED group.

Other than seeking another source, any suggestions ?

Paid up & pi$$ed off,

I'm confused. You paid and got nothing? Did they give you a new executable or did they just give you a number you type into the Firewall to extend it's life.

My Norton Personal Firewall works that way. When I upgraded, I just typed in the new information and it upgraded itself.

Problem is that accounting has not passed the word to the troops.

Maybe I'll get a reply tomorrow. Thanks.

I had a similar problem last October and managed to drill down to a real person and a solution starting at 800-927-3991. Good luck!:D

What a telephone marathon ! Lady was in bumduck Injia & was a PITA [ not bread ] for close to 30 minutes. We were unable to download the program so I was extended, credited & re-billed for a 1 year disc [ $8.00 S & H]. So , we lost the savings + are getting gouged [because I don't speak Hindu ?]for 8 bucks.
Got to find something better & faster.

Thank you very much for the 800 # .

Uncle Alan

If you run a Internet Explorer browser, Ad Aware SE is a must. It is also free for the personal edition.

Just one note though, run Adawre beore running Spybot, spybot leaves things that Ad aware does not.

Here's the number I used to reach customer service and request a refund, as I was tired of NAV pulling down all my resources, locking up and crashing my system. The last NAV that was good was 2003. After that it became a resource hog and never worked as good.

Deleted everything in the computer that said symantec and haven't looked back since. I went to the free Avast anti virus program.

The dork at Symantec had the gall to tell me that by pulling down all the resources and crashing my system it showed that norton anti virus was doing it's job properly.:barf:

If you are going to pay for anything by god don't let it be Norton.

being a network admin and system integrator I have to recomend going with panda antivirus programs, they have some great all in one suits with AV, antispyware, and firewall.

isnt it great calling a company based in america and talking to a person who speaks a form of english not known by anyone outside of india-

i am so frickin sick and tired of calling help lines just to get more pissed off because they dont speak a known language-
i spent 1.5 hours talking to a person from india when i had a trac phone and it wouldnt take a top up card-i dont think i was ever so mad- i drove over the phone and went to virgin-
