the only 154cm blade i ever owned was a benchmade folder. for starters, i was rather happy with the steel... i abused it pretty badly and for a stainless i felt that it just kept on truckin. even took it into the ocean a few times before i got my tasman salt. axis lock eventually failed
Well, that's what started my search for a similarly sized blade with a skelotinized handle... enter the tops sneaky pete mini (which by looks alone i love) and mil spie 3. i've read a number of threads about tops knives in general and rarely read anything with detail about their 154cm's overall durability concerning rough use. around the same price is the falkniven f1 and i was wondering which you all would reccomend for wet conditions/general slicing/ease of sharpening/and last ditch defensive weapon. i will not be taking this one to the ocean... but, on a plot of land with (brackish water)
sneaky pete mini 2.5" 154cm 1/8" thick with 3.5" skelotonized handle
mil spie 3.5" 154cm 3/16" thick blade with 4.5" skelotonized handle
falkniven f1 3.8" lam vg10 blade .18" thick 59hrc 4.5" thermorun handle 6oz
