Lycosa sent me a design idea - tanto, one scale, friction folder... big, light as can be, as simple as possible. Here's the first one!

This design uses friction to keep it open and closed.

Ti Blade, Ti Stop/Thumb stud, Ti clip with stainless steel pivot and screws. Purple G10!

Big design inspiration goes to Ed Halligan and his Stiff K.I.S.S. folders. Respect!

Bubblegum Purple

It's dirty and just completed, I'll get better pics later hen I have some sun. It is for sale! Inquire at the DFK mailing and operations department. (me)

I'll be using this clip on my other folders too, I like it a lot.

Daniel, will this be the design for the upcoming friction folders?

Email sent.

Not a huge fan of purple myself but that thing is cool! I'd own one if I had the coin! Friction folders are intriguing..

Dude, I love my Halligan KISS, mine is a wharncliff blade though. Rolf, I see why you like the idea, good use for a Ti blade.

Daniel, you using washers? I really want to make one of those, I've got some ideas.... what do you charge for carbidizing again?

And let me say this Gang, for an EDC folder, used for basic cutting and other knife-stuff, this is the only folder you'll need. And... it's so cool. :D
