S/W Badge knife

I just picked up a S/W Badge Knife (25 dollars) I heard a lot of bad things about this brand but ill tell you the thing feels good in my hand is sharp as hell The way i see it is it dosent have to hold an edge and be perfect its for back up SD If Im unlucky enough to have to use it it will be a one time deal and it will be taken off me What do you guys think? THAMKS
 
mm~ looks like a kerambit, and yeh looks okay for SD XD

Yeah.....and the cool thing is that it may have excellent edge-holding ability.

All I've heard is "rumors" that the Chinese steel is not good.

It appears to be an excellent grade of stainless....and my experience is that the two S&Ws I have are holding their razor edges very well......so I have to laugh at all the "experts" and their opinions based on nothing but prejudice and rumor.

I also have several slip-joints made in china and have integrated them into daily use and, so far, they seem comparable to Case except they have better overall fit and finish than the Case slip joints.

I have one of these and it is far and away my favorite SD knife - great retention, wicked sharp, and well within legal blade length limits. Sheath is crappy but I made a crude one out of kydex that works fine. One of the best deals out there IMHO.
