S & W Friction Bloc question

[The General]

I bought some of this while waiting for my Tuf Glide. It is a small container of white liquid intended to serve a similar role. I have used it and have not been very impressed with it. In fairness I have only tried it once. What is special about this product and is it in fact any good? Thanks

I don't know the whole story, but S&W voluntarily did a bunch of crap that hinders US responsible citizens rights to do as they please, lawfully. Something with the gun locks or ID-ing people or worse I don't know, I don't care, I'm not a "gun guy." I do know that I would not buy S&W branded POS knife related products as they are generally of low quality.
