S&W HRT folder. "Wave" feature?

I'm wondering if you can "wave" the knife open. I had a Cuda MAXX which has similar guards on the blade, and I could easily open it on the edge of my pocket. Will the S&W knife do it?

Looks like it's tip-down carry only, so no, unless you mod it for tip-up carry, you can't "wave" it. I suppose you could remove the clip and carry it loose in your pocket, but that sounds like a bad idea, and one that would defeat the purpose of having a folder that opens quickly.

Both this knife and the Cuda MAXX were designed by Darrell Ralph, which is why they have similar design elements.

I believe it is imported and owned by Schrade too.

you could buy one of those clips from countycomm, and be able to tip up it. The same with some other smith & Wesson knives, such as the smith & wesson firefighter, military issue (I think thats what it's called), and border guard.

Sorta, not quite. Taylor Cutlery (China) makes S&W knives, and also owns the name/rights to produce Schrade.
