I just bought and received one of Smith & Wesson's Powerglide knives. I paid ten bucks for it, including shipping, brand new.
Actually, for ten bucks, I would have bought many more, but it was the last they had. Just found another one for twenty bucks, but alas, it was the last one they had.
My interest in this knife is just curiosity. It is far too large for easy carry and it takes far too long to open and close. On top of that, the balance is horrible, the quality of the blade questionable and the chopping ability almost non-existent.
But I did wonder how strong the lockup is. Does anyone have any experience with the knife? And would it be defined as a folder or a fixed blade if it were carried? Finally, does anyone know where I can get more of these things at twenty bucks or so? I'm interested in putting them in some of my family's bug-out bags.
