Been super busy around here lately , I know I haven't had the time to be on here as much as I would like to be. But anyways over the past couple of nights I have been tinkering away on my S110V Manix 2 , went through all 4 Atomas (140 - 1200) Then a bunch of Shapton Pro Stones (220 - 30k) and just finished off with some 0.25y Poly on Nanocloth. Took it down to a relatively steep 12.5DPS

First of all let me say I am really impressed with the resulting edge , it does surprisingly well at everything I have thrown at it. HHT , TP , Papertowel , Tissue , Dry shaves , this is probably gonna be my EDC for the next... well a very long time anyways (probably gonna pair it with an S90v Phil Wilson...)

The only thing I am not happy about is the poor factory grinds on the knife , plunge lines are malaligned , massive overgrind at the heel , general unevenness. I think I am going to have it thinned and reground.

Heres how she came out , using a Hakka Suita for the reflection shot.

I have one like that but you couldn't cut yourself on it. I will drop it off the next time I drive by.

Im thrilled with the S110v , particularly fine grain structure for the metallurgy , surprisingly tough as well.

Zid are you the gentleman from HL I have been speaking with on my FB page? I look forward to it irregardless :)
