I cut down a thin tree and cut out about a 2 inch section. I have been whittling it for about 10 minutes now and i noticed that my blade has been polished and hasn't dulled at all. anyone else ever encounter this?
For something really different try cutting cardboard with a Buck 110 Ion Fusion. The abrasive cardboard wears away some stainless blade material and leaves just the coating on the cutting edge (final bevel is chisel ground) of super hard material meaning it really gets sharper as you go.
