I do not use my Chinook II as an everyday utility knife.
Rather, I have polished the already fantastically sharp edge and I carry it as my self-defense knife; and especially when riding my bike.
When riding my bike, I carry the knife in the small of my back, clipped to my shorts, inside my waistband.
This exposes the knife to a lot of salty sweat.
I have noticed a tiny amount of spotting on the blade, which rubs out with oil and elbow grease and leaves no pit behind.
I wonder, though, what kind of experience others have had with S30V in very corrosive environments, such as body contact and sweat.
Any comments?
