S30V comparison

I have a short question. Is the S30V that is heat treated by Kershaw/ZT softer then the HT on a Spyderco knife? Is there a difference in edge retention, rust resistance, and wear resistance, or is the differences very minor. I'm asking this because I haven't tried a S30V knife by Spyderco.

I find spyderco runs there S30V just a little harder, honestly I might just be imagining things though...I don't think there would be a noticeable difference:)

Just a heads up, but comparisons between companies are much better suited for General Knife Discussion. It seems that most discussions started in a manufacturers forums revolving around comparisons between steels and models end up there at some point.
Hard to say, the blade shapes and grinds a very diffent. I'm also not sure where wither company does their heat treat, be it in house or contracted out. The bet answer will be a best guess.
