S30V G10 Leek?

Are these relitivly rare? I saw one today in person at a gunshow for the first time. He was selling it for $100. I talked him down to $70 and GOT IT!!! Good deal or what? I really like this knife. But it is WAY way too small for my hands, for any real work,:grumpy: and my wife likes her big ol CS push dagger so I guess I'll put it up for trade. Damn!! I wish they where just alittle bigger. I have a bunch of spidies up too, so email me if you like. I like SD knives. Anyway does kershaw make anything with relitivly the same handle shape, just bigger?

Yup, it's called an Avalanche and it is one of my favorites. G-10 scales and an S30V, TiNi coated blade.

It is not rare. It is part of the standard Kershaw line of Leek knives. Look at the Kershaw Shallot, similar to the Leek with a 3.5" blade.

They will have a larger-framed Leek in '08. Can't wait. It'll be like the Spyderco Police in my mind. We'll see...

These go for around 70 bucks all day with shipping from most internet stores. Its a good little knife, my friend is a baker and she carried one for a year before it was replaced by a MCUSTA.

One more vote for the Avalanche great knife. You should be able to find one for $60 to $70 price range. They are a great deal for that price.
