Hey, I have recently secured this Leek from the bay to add to my collection of leeks. I have a few questions about it that i was hoping a few Kershaw guys could answer. It is a Kershaw "1660TCKT S30V"

If im not mistaken this is the only Kershaw Random Leek to use S30V that is Plain Edge. If im wrong please lemme know what other model does.

Im looking for a approx number produced. Handle material. And what the letters on the front of the knife stand for. More info welcomed and Thanks for the help.

Sorry for the crappy pics, Ill take better ones tommarow.

It was a special run for a store called Chesapeake Knife & Tool which has gone out of business. I picked up a few more at their closing sale. I carry one almost every day to work.

You are correct but veubent was asking specifically about plain edge Random Leeks. The knife you are showing isn't a Random Leek. It is however still in production and darn fine knife.

veubent, the knife you have is a strange one to me. I didn't think they produced any plain edge Random Leeks in S30V. I always understood the plain edge models to be 13C26.

It was to the best of my knowledge the only plain edge random leek and unwisefool was correct, it was made for Chesapeake Knife and tool. I can't find the info on how many were made , but it was low, in the hundreds. They also made a combo edge version. The plain edge version , if you can find one in mint condition, will easily bring $100 in todays market. A very nice find.

It is a Kershaw "1660TCKT S30V"

I bought my first Leek and am waiting anxiously for it.

I've had a Blur & sold it (stiff & kinda heavy for a small knife) JYD & sold it (wayy too heavy) Cyclone & gonna sell it (wayy too heavy) Needs Work - gave it to my wife for cutting boxes open (wayy too heavy for a small blade).

Kershaw lovers must be power lifters or something? :)

But I thought maybe the Leek is right for me?

I only wish I'd been so lucky to find that awesome reverse Tanto like the BM 940 Osborne - wow that rocks!! Solid score

Can I buy you 1660t CKT Leek. I bought one from Chesapeak knife and tool 18 years ago and 2 years ago it was stolen. I have been looking for one ever since. It was the first knife I ever bought and it really meant a lot to me. Please.

If the OP doesn't have his any longer or doesn't want to sell, the best place to find one would be eBay. They turn up on there still once in a while. TGRYST would be another Random Leek …. I think you would like, also S30V
