Had my s30v Native now for about two weeks now. Have had a chance to "use" it well and the first big item is it's much easier to sharpen than I expected. I have a Lil Temp with the S60V and it's much harder to sharpen. (still like the Temp. though) I just hit it a little with the diamond hone on my Lansky.

Next, is the light weight and the ease of operation. Yesterday I pruned oak branches, blackberry vines, and various weeds from my garden. This is a great knife for light yard work. When dirt or grit gets into the works, I hose it off and blow it dry with compressed air.

You have done well with this knife. Can't wait for the new size Military be out, so I can buy it too.

The Native with S30V is a good package. I had a 440V version and the blade edge on mine was prone to chipping when the edge contacted hard material (in my case a cement floor when I had cut boxes). The new steel seems good, so far I have no complaints or concerns.
