I have really become a fan of S30V and am looking for a neck knife with that particular steel. Other than the Simonich Bitteroot, does anyone know of another neck knife with S30V and an overall length of 5" or smaller? I will have to pocket carry the knife on occasion so I am looking for something small.

I just received one from Mike Obenauf that has a 3 3/8" S30V blade with a kydex sheath and a green G-10 handle. Contact Mike for details.

I have the Jeff Hall neck knife, made from S30V. Really nice knife and wicked sharp. You can get the factory version from nemesis knives, but it will be chisel ground as opposed to double ground.

Cool knife !! I always wear it, even when I take a shower.

I have a Simonich Crowfoot in S30V that I've become quite partial to.

Had a Bud Nealy Pesh Kabz in S30V also, was a VERY nice knife just didn't quite "fit" me very well.

Was able to track down a Bitteroot finally, S30V in satin. Also got a coated version coming when Rob finishes the next batch.

RW Scissors - Do you like hole at the end of the handle on the Crowfoot? By the way, Arizona Custom Knives just moved to Anchorage. That is where I found the Bitteroot. www.arizonacustomknives.com

I believe that Kit Carson's F4 neck knife is available in S30V.

Wow...just looked it up...sure enough...they's in Anchorage....wow...that's pretty cool! Wonder how long they've been here? I've already been fortunate enough to have one damn good knife shop nearby, but a second one? Damn...my lucky day! (or maybe not when considering all the Ramen Soup I could wind up eating)

Course if it's all still internet based, I reckon it's still the same agonizing wait...maybe shortened a day or two.

That's where I ordered my Crowfoot from as well, incidentally.

The hole at the end of the handle on that Crowfoot...ah, freakin' hated it at first. my hand just did not fit it worth a darn. Then my wife fell madly in love with it and insisted that I keep it, since it fit her hands particularly well. Now that I've lost some of myself, it fits my hand quite comfortably. Guess the bottom line is that it'll probably work out for most anyone that doesn't have a set of oversized meathooks.

Gotta love that blade though! It's also very flat and carries quite nicely.
