It’s dlc coated and spartan blades I’m not sure what kind of finish it is underneath. It's needs nothing. It's a great steel as long as it doesn't have a super pourous finish.
I have a horkos and a V-14 dagger with a tactical trout on the way. They have excellent quality control I really like them though I have not really taken the horkos out bush that much. I think I’ll put some mineral oil on them.Had to look up Spartan Knives. The fixed blade look B/A !! Haven't looked at folders yet. Which one do you have? And as far as the S35 steel, its fairly corrosion resistant, not "proof". if it get wet wipe it off maybe a rag with a bit of oil once in a while to wipe it down, nothing heavy. Just treat it with respect and it'll be fine.
Good to know thanks.Haven't had issues with in consistent 70%+ humidity even when uncoated. Including spartan
