S35VN or Damascus

I have a dilemma and open to suggestions - damascus (raindrop) or S35VN. For me, I use my knives as EDC and some work. I want to know which is easier to sharpen and which is stronger. This topic was mentioned 2 years ago. But there weren't many inputs so I think it would be sweet to gather some more ideas on it now :thumbup::thumbup:

Take a look at this thread, it has some good info. I've personally carried Damascus CRK's and have been perfectly happy with their performance. Over time the pattern will start to lighten and lose some contrast. This is easily remedied by etching the blade again, if you would so desire.
Edit: CRK's latest offerings use stainless damascus. In the past CRK offered carbon damascus that required more care to prevent corrosion. Just an FYI.
