S35vn Recon 1 (Black DLC) - anyone have one yet?

I've been eyeing getting one of these, but I really want to make sure I get one that is sharpened all the way down to the sharpening notch. I've seen varying images all over the place that look more like renderings that have just had the blade steel text changed, and basically zero actual images of the new models that are out.

If you have one, is it sharpened all the way to the notch? I'm just trying to avoid having that awful little bit of unsharpened blade at the base.

In a review I saw on YT it's sharpened all the way to the notch

I just recently got a Recon 1 from GP Knives, and it came with the edge all the way to the notch. The photos on their site show the edge all the way back as does that short video of the Recon 1. Hope this helps brother.

It will be sharpened all the way. The exception is the tanto which is hollow ground and has the unsharpened section.

I have a micro Recon 1 (drop point) in AUS-8.. I believe.. Love this little knife!
I'm going to the CS parking lot sale, May 19th, with a friend, and will be looking at the 4" Recon 1 spear point. I dont care for the clip point look. I wanted the 3" model but it seems this is discontinued..only the 4" and 5" ones. I think they are only available in S35VN now.

I ordered and received the S35vn Clip Point Recon 1, and it is indeed sharpened all the way to the notch! I have it in my pocket as I type this. Very pleased with this change.
