Marcello, the inlays are glued with long time cure epoxy. To grind them in place I use another glue, one that can be released with heat. Then I take them apart, heat color the mokuti and put them in place again. The second step don't allow me to make any mistakes.

Wow!!! That's incredible, Gus. Did you still use your ball bearing system? How thick are the handle inlays?
 
Thanks Joe! Use them in 100% of the knives I build.
The handle inlays are 2.0mm thick, the frame walls are 4mm.
