I have no experience with this steel whatsoever, does it take agressive edge as s30v?Is it easy to sharpen?

I have the Bark River Bravo Micro in S35VN an
d it is easy to sharpen with diamonds. I wouldn't want to sharpen it with river stones.
You can achieve an edge of stunning sharpness with the proper tools relatively quickly, but in general I would say that it is NOT easy to sharpen.
I hear S30V is similar, depending on the heat treat.

I find it easy to sharpen with a Sharpmaker's ceramic rods. It also responds to a strop well. It seems to take a finer edge than S30V with less effort. It's said to be slightly tougher than S30V. Don't know about that but it does sharpen up readily for me.

Seems to sharpen easier than S30V and takes a very fine edge. The addition of niobium apparently makes the difference. Both hold an edge very well.
