S36 AutoClip and S42 Outdoor Mini AutoClip

Well guys (and Ron), I've finally desided on getting a SOG 2nds Auto Clip or the Outdoor Mini AutoClip (most likely the AutoClip). Took a lot of thinking, first I could not deside if I should get the Field Pup first or an Auto Clip. Then I found a few fixed blades that I had lost (Buck 105 in AUS 8 and Kershaw Echo in AUS 8) and desided I had enough hunting style knives for now. So of course the Autoclip is now coming first.

Am just wondering which handle color I should get, the black or green. I am considering green because it might blend in better on campouts, it's different, Plus The Outdoor Club T-shirt is forest green.Even if the handle is military olive green it would match my Webbed belt. So what do you guys think? Any other Pros/Cons for Black V/S Green? And does anyone have pics of the green handled AutoClips? Thanks!

Oh yeah, if anyone asks why I'm buying another knife, It's All Ron's Fault. heeheehee

Those knives sound awesome. I wonder, is the main edge fully serrated or just partly serrated? Might be interested in a fully Serrated Auto Clip.

Hey Ron, can you scan in a pic of the knife oh yeah, and a standared Green handled AutoClip? Pics help sell, and yours are cool.

Wow! Ron, that is a nice looking knife. I like. But I just realized that they will most likely be out of stock by the time I can afford one. Unless SOG takes payments? Or better yet, gives it to me for my B-day he he he.

In all seriousness, now I'm really having a hard time deciding if I should get a green Autoclip or Black. Or maybe a loan so I can get the LE model and a regular model in black or green. Desisions, desisions.

I just ordered 2 of these today. I had a standard auto clip a while back that I foolishly let go in a trade. What's the story on these? were they prototypes, samples or what? are they going to be available later? I really like the knife, and the looks of that one in particular.
btw, can you put a thumbstud on my tomcat if I send it back? how much? I realize you make one with the stud, but I got this one in a trade and love the size and blade style, but it's just tough getting it open with only the nail nick. thanks pm
