S60V Blur

I just received the s60v Blur from the giveaway. Thanks again Thomas! This is my first and only blur (so far) and I love this thing. I am going to have to start collecting blurs now too! The speedsafe feels like it opens with a lot more authority than on my leeks.

My camera skills are horrible, I will try and take some pics though. Lol im fine being second. Hey you made the rule that the runner up would receive one too, not me haha.

I often wonder about the SpeedSafe kick on the Blur...I have a large number of Kershaw folders with SpeedSafe, and the Blurs by far open the hardest and fastest...perhaps they deliberately designed these that way to complement the name itself...they truly do open in a blur. :D

I dont know, maybe its because you are using the thumbstud instead of a the index finger flipper like on the leek. It just about jumped out of my hand though when I first opened it.

I hadn't thought about the potential increase in force due to thumstud use...could be.

The only knife I have that kicks harder than my Blurs is a really beefy full-auto Benchmade/HK Auto-AXIS limited edition...it I almost dropped the first time opening...:D

Open a leek with your thumb, to me it seems like it opens faster/harder. Could be all in my mind though. I think maybe when you use your thumb you have a looser grip because only your fingers and palm are holding the knife whereas when you use the index finger flipper you have the knife securely between your finger, palm, and thumb.

its nice here....could use some women though....but i doubt any of us will give up our s60v's for anything

Haha thanks. I have a woman, I will trade her for some knives lol j/k. Are the Blur's with the silver twill g10 440a or 13c26?

Thanks. I really like the handle with the inlaid silver twill g10. I like the grippyness of trac tec but I think for pants other than jeans it would be too ruff.

Thats really nice of him. Most of the people at my work are uninterested in knives. There is one guy at work though who makes his own knives (stock removal) and he is going to bladesmith school soon, I have yet to see his work though.
 
her actually. i got her a pink leek and a little jeeva. now i have to make sure she doesn't bring it in and stab people.
 
okay so im done playing poker... my g10 blur was dated APR06. thomas? craig? dave?

whats verdict? 13c26 or 440A
