I have a couple Hortons in S7. It is a tough tool steel that is easy to sharpen.

I have a Sayoc-Winkler hawk in S7 from Dan, haven't used or sharpened yet.
Supposedly, from what I've read, S5 is a tougher steel but harder to find.

Like BBT said, very tough and easy to sharpen, any way main is a Horton so its sharp as hell. pic:
