Anyone ever do any work with S7? I was curious on what kind of finish it will take, how it grinds etc. Thanks for any info.

Check this out. I went to visit him and his stuff is very pricy yet very good. Amaizing blades, but I cant afford them, maybe one day.\
He uses S7 in his Bright Knight line IIRC.

Wow. On both the price and the work itself. Thank you for the sight info. It answers a couple of questions that I had. Still wondering how it(S7) is to work with.

S7 is pretty easy to work with. Times and temperatures must be precise however. Easy to grind. Polishes nicely. When it warps it can be a little tough to straighten.
It is incredibly tough at RC 57/58. Must be cryo processed to have good edge retention however.
