I got a little board the other day and decided to try and dull my S90V millie. I went out to the garage in search of some tuff materials, I started with trimming some loose drywall and garden twine that was like manila rope and then some cat5e and cardboard. By the time I was done the edge would no longer shave but still had enough sharpness to keep cutting. I inspected the edge for damage when I was done, but could only find two small spots that were flattened. There was so little damage to the edge I had trouble taking pictures of it.

The only two visable spots of damage

The loose peices of drywall was not enough so I took a chunk out of some 5/8ths. I was  with every cut

20 cuts of cat5, loose drywall, 2x6' of 1/8 cardboard

You can see a little edge damage here, but still, not what you would expect

And for the very last cut test a tomato, that it cut very well

When I was cutting the tomato I could not believe how well it was still cutting and how thin I could get the slices, this is truly an amazing knife and steel.

Yes, the first thing I do when I get a new knife is sharpen it. I also don't like when my knives have anything less than a razor sharp edge. This knife also was not at its full sharpness, I had been using it at work for about a week.

The s90v millie is my edc.
When I got it I hardcore used it just to test the edge retention for about a month.
Didn't split hairs at the end but it could shave, leg hair atleast.
