I was fortunate enough to win this knife in a generous giveaway by Mr. Alexander himself. I decided to give it to my older brother for his birthday since I thought he could get more use out of it right now. Also, he doesn't have a custom knife.
Shaving sharp out of the box. He said it was of his earlier works, but it was still a good looking knife. Very light, but still sturdy. No play or anything like that in the handle.
I cut a small branch from a tree and did some whittling on it. I made an attempt at feathering with it.
I thought after all the push cuts it would have started to lose its' edge, but that wasn't the case. I figured it would probably need sharpening before I gave it to my older brother for his birthday, but it didn't. I just cleaned it up and gave it a few laps on a leather strop.
My brother really liked it and commented on how sharp it was.
So, thanks again for the great knife Shane!!
Anyway, here are a couple of pics.
