Has anyone used this knife? Trying to decide to buy it or not. I need a good user knife, not a show peace. Want to know if it would hold its own against my Heavy Heart.
 
What is it? Who makes it? Are you talking about a known person or company or some Pakistan made crap?
 
f-2175, what were you planning on using it for -- combat, utility, hunting? It's hard to compare a little-known item against a heavy-duty standard without some idea of the attributes you're looking for.

That said, the design seems pretty busy, and not utility-oriented, at least.
 
Do we even know if it is a Spivey knife being asked about? There are a bunch of "Sabertooth" named knives out there. Probably more bad ones than good.

he is compairing the knife to a Heavy Heart so its a good chance he isnt referring to the "sabertooth" folder. lol.
 
Thanks, I don't see the knife by Jefferson Spivey that hardheart linked to as comparable to a Busse.

Yes, The Spivey Sabortooth is the knife in question. Trying to find out any info on someone who has used it. Im trying not to go by a book, all ready went down that road with the Tracker.

funny you mention the tracker. im wanting to compare the sabertooth and tracker in some backyard tests. lol.
 
Not talking statistics. Statistics on what? Talking design. You got any statistics on blade steel, history, body of knowledge from a LARGE and enthusiastic user base? Thanks.
 
All I wanted to know, was there anyone who has had any experience with this knife. It looks like a pretty good blade. I just didnt want to spend Another $300 on a paper weight

Sorry if that sounded overly harsh. by statistics i mean any information on why you consider this knife to not compare to a busse? do you know weight, length or thickness on the spivey? ever personally handled one?I too am searching for info on it.

I think it unfair to judge it without having enough info on it or handleing one personally.
 
Your right I am being unfair. Would anyone who has used this knife please give a review.
 
aren't they supposed to be made of chrome-ally(spelling?), the stuff that some gun barrels are lined with?
