Sorry to keep asking this, but have got no replies back. Has anyone a review of this knife? I am very interested in getting one.

sorry but who makes this knife?

would you be talking about the Kershaw DWO III Sabertooth?

I just got my second one in the mail, the first one I had was a 1976 make and rare I guess...they're all rare since I don't know anyone who has one..lol. I am going to use this one soon, and I will give you a review in this section as soon as I do. At fisrt glance it looks fine, I am not so sure about the plastic handle, I am already thinking about customizing it, my other one had a walnut handle and felt good. The saw looks pretty mean, I am going out to cut down a sapling in my yard right now, and I'll tell you if it works. If I was going to do some light chopping, I would move my hand position below the finger loop, I can tell this already. The loop is ok if your cutting or slicing, but I think it would cause discomfort under impact. Anyways, I'll get back to you in a minute on the saw. The sheath is ok too, nothing great, but it works. Gene;)

The saw worked great, it takes some force as the teeth dig way in, but it really cuts. I was right about the hand position, after moving my hand back behind the loop, it chopped like a light machete. I held the knife with my index finger in the loop and did some carving, it handles just fine, I made an on the sight rig, and looped the leather lanyard that came with the knife around the finger loop, it feels 100% better, and you feel like you have one hell of a grip. Here's some pics, Gene

Forgive me, what does that mean?

I also have a Sabertooth, great knife i used it last deer season that saw works like a swiss army sawblade it cut through bone like a breeze. It did some light chopping with no problems and the knife whittles and cuts very good.

hey cliff.... do you think the Scandinavian bevel is superior (generally)
then the traditional 2 bevels?

in that case, no it is not Cliff.
