Sable III - any chance of a comeback?

My favorite one-piece is the 4 inch Sable III. I like the blade shape and the size to use as a desk knife. I am maintaining only a minimal collection and the great one-piece design is a must have. Does anyone know if Chris Reeve Knives does limited runs of this model or is it discontinued "forever"? Anybody have one they'd like to sell? I had one but needed some quick cash and sold it. From my experence it appears that once a model is discontinued it never comes back. The one exception I can recall would be the classic sebenza....sorta kinda

I think CRK will still make it for you. I ordered several from a dealer and received them last year.

I think it's a once-in-a-while model, not really discontinued.
They do show up for sale in the Exchange a few times a year.
That's how I got mine. Old-style: hexagonal butt cap.

Don't even ask. It's my all-time favoite knife out of all my fixed and folders.
