Sable Short Sword?

I recently acquired a Sable I with the 9" blade, and it is awesome in every regard, from balance to edge geometry to the usual CR excellence with grinds, finish, etc. So much so, that it induces cravings for a version with a 20" blade! Would this be possible? Is there a limit on lengths of the available A2 bar stock?

Esav Benyamin has a Sable with the 12" blade. I have held this knife (sword) and I am very impressed with it. I will see if I can get a pic of his knife to post here.

I didn't know there was a Sable with a 12" blade. I'd love to see a pic, though your avatar will suffice in the meanwhile...

Professor, this thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220031 came up recently, so I saved the reference. Warriorsociologist links to a sword with an 18" dagger blade, with a picture. Anne's post following his has a list of all the one-piece through 1995, including the sword (there were 12 of them) and the 12" knives (13 of them).
