I decided to put a satin finish on this one. What I quickly discovered was that this Camp, which came from Nashville.... triple heat with cryo quench, is as hard as a diamond. Not really but at HRC 60ish it was harder than my previous Camp which J treated on the compound to the tune of something like HRC 58.5ish.
Anyway, I have been putting alot of elbow grease into it for the last few weeks and this is where I am at as of today.

What do you guys think?

Bear, I like to keep the machine marks intact as, for me, they are salient to a Horton knife. I just like a little satin.

My camera and lens are good, in fact, they are so good that I could dial down the detail a bit and create the illusion that this blade is free of any aberrant features. I really work hard on my technique so as to show as much detail as possible.

pepper, that is an awesome job on a topnotch knife, i will own one of jeremy's knives, hopefully sooner than later.

love those neckers that he just put up and the camp blood was very reasonably priced.
