My first knife of 2013 came in and it is going to be hard to top!
The shipping was quite fast also!

The fit and finish are outstanding! This is the first knife over the price of $20 that I bought the same day I first saw it. Everything about this knife is what I was looking for.
A lot of people compare it to some combination of a Sebenza and other high end knives and I would agree. I was really thinking about picking up a Strider but this fits me so much better.

The knife locks open in with a very positive click and the lockup is without play or stick. The lock face is radiused which might cause some to worry and while i can't say for sure it will wear without developing rock I have
no issues with the lock up.

The blade shape is what really got me. The swedge just adds a great look to the knife. The S on the blade is double cool because my name is Stan (Hi, nice to meet you!). It opens fast and smooth the action is great.

The knife fits the hand perfectly in a normal or choked up grip.

That is a very nice piece you got there! I'm almost jealous =) I got my first for 2013 today too... Had I had to wait for tomorrow I would have been jealous lol.

If I may ask, where did you pick it up? PM/VM if you don't want to broadcast.
 
Did you know there was also a carbon fiber version :-)

I ordered both. Can't wait till they come in.
 
That is very nice! The Officer is on my short list of must haves. At this point I'm trying to decide between yours or the carbon version.
 
It was hard to choose between this one and the carbon fiber model. Both are beautiful folders.

Shipping is very fast you'll be surprised assuming customs doesn't mess it up.
 
ive had mine for a few weeks now and yup thats a great knife :) and for that price it cant be beaten, very nice materials and perfect fit and finish and you get that custom feel with the "anso" pattern on the G10 :)
 
My G10 version of the Officer came in today. Like everyone has said, great fit and finish. The blade came very sharp. It feels very good in the hand.

I would say this knife is a more like a combination between my Shirogorov 100NS and a ZT0551. It looks nice but not too nice. I would feel very comfortable with this knife as my primary user knife.
 
Great knife, almost got one myself. Went with the Lion Steel Tispine instead. Would love to see a video of the action on this knife! As close to a custom as they come!
 
Shipping was VERY fast, had mine in less than a week. Very nice fit and finish. Blade is a bit stiff and the lock is sticky. My hope is that'll improve with use.
