My order of sack-ups arrived today. Again, for $8 a package (six pack), they are a very good storage or in-pocket carry option.

Just to clear up all that flap about flaps :) , the new ones are in fact flapless. The actual dimensions are within 1/8" - 1/4" of their listed size. The 5" pouch measured 5 1/8" while the 3" pouch measured 2 7/8". As pointed out yesterday, they stretch a bit so they'll accomodate all of my folders easily.

Lastly, as you 'll see, my knife drawer now looks like it's been attacked by little gray infant sized tube socks :)

[Below] The two on the left are the 5" pouch housing a Scott Cook Lochsa and a Obenauf Model 2, the smaller pouches are the 4" size with more Obie Model 2's.

Glad they worked out so well for you. Looks like you're "Flaps Down" and good to go. :D

Nice knives, as well.

Where did you buy 'em?

You can do a froogle search for Sack-Ups (note the spelling, incl hyphen). I bought from knivesplus.com

http://www.knivesplus.com/SACKUPS.HTML

Whatever you do, don't buy from theknifestore.com. They are listed after conducting a search, but they are an awful retailer. I ordered the sackups from them in April and haven't heard a thing. My credit card was never charged but I've sent countless emails with no response. I call their listed phone number and it just rings. A search here at BF for theknifestore will reveal several similar situations.

Knivesplus was very good to deal with.

Off topic, but where did you get the chest? I've been looking for a good way to store my knives and this looks like it might be a good option!

Sincerely,
Anthony
