A few days ago, I was watching a couple kids playing around when one of them pulled a black coated (I'm not sure what Gerber uses to coat their blades but it didn't look like boron-carbide, it kind of looked like teflon or paint) Gerber with aluminum handles (I think it was a Gator), and flick the blade open to show to his buddies. They all acted like it was some kind of weapon and then one of them asked to see it. He handed the knife over and the kid proceded to walk over to another group of kids, and I heard him saying "I'm gonna go scare me some people". He walked over and snapped the blade out, enjoying them jump back. I was just thinking how that now that if someone else saw that it would give them another reason, in their opinions, to hate knives and assume that all people that carry knives (especially those people that carry more than one) are criminals and misuse knives to scare and harm people 
. I should have done something about it, but I didn't and wish I had. I don't know if this is the right forum or not, but I didn't intentionally post it in the wrong forum. Anyway, I just hate to see this happening.
