Sad day yesterday, 15 years of friendship have been lost somewhere on the road to work.
I lost my Puukko, it will miss me a lot::( :( :( :( :(
 
Oh no.. That's awful man. The bright side is in the road of life we loose some friends and make others.
 
Too bad, but, on the flip side, you now have a good excuse to go out and buy yourself a new knife. ;)
 
Know too that someone will become as happy as you were with that piece when they find it.

I freekin hate losin stuff. Feels like my guts were ripped out. Even worse is the thought that it was my own stinkin fault...
 
most of us have been there man, sorry to hear it...

I lost my well used HR to the local tip with drop sheets and empty paint tins...

The feeling just sucks!:(
 
I read an article one time, where the author after having a knife that seved him well for a long time would set it free. He would just go out somewhere in the woods and stick it as deep as he could into a tree or stump and leave it there.:)
 
Likewise, I heard that Japanese sushi chefs dont´t just throw away their old and worn out kitchen knives - they bury them with a little ceremony...
