Sad news from Skyhorse

I just got a call from Skyhorse (Tom Smith). Tom had been back in California for over a month taking care of his father who was suffering from cancer. Last evening his Dad passed away at home surrounded by his family.

Hang in there Tom, our thoughts are with you and your family.
 
Tom, May the Lord hold you and your family up in this sorrowful time. My prayers are going up for you.
 
Tom, I don't know you other than from this forum, but I've lost both my parents and this year lost the mother of a very close female friend of mine who was like family, so I know where you're standing now. It's hard, but you can know that the good things you saw and remember in your father others see in you. Hang in there.

I don't believe words can console in times of loss. Everybody has you in our thoughts.

I just experienced this as well . Tom, I'm standing with you in the gap as well with these helping to bear your burdens . May God send you strength at this time . DM
 
tom my friend ... words can not express the sadness i know you feel
and i can not find the words to ease your burden ..
know that i and all your friends here stand with you in your time of loss...

I am saddened by your loss; your family will be in my prayers. My wife lost her father last Monday and our family is still mourning his loss. Reach out to your family and friends during this time of pain, they will be a source of help and comfort in your time of need. Keep your faith in our heavenly father and know that your dad is in a better place and at peace.
