Sad News . . . We Have Lost A Dear Friend And Member Of Our Community.
Brian Owens, Boss1911, was involved in a fatal car crash.
He was struck head-on when an oncoming car went left of center and crossed into his lane on January 13th.
He fought bravely until he ultimately passed on January 24th.
Brian was, and always will be, our friend, our fellow knife nut, and an INFI HOG of the highest order.
His wife, Terri, told us how much he enjoyed our forum, our knives, and our community.
Many of you have interacted with him on and off of our forum and shared your passion for knives with him.
His many humorous posts were some of my favorites.
In December, he wrote, "The Anorexic Trough Raider will make you smile every time you pull it out of the sheath. That’s what I love about Busse blades, they make me smile."
And that's what I loved about Brian's posts, they made me smile.
It was an honor to have known him, and he will be sorely missed.
Rest In Peace, my friend.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your loved ones,
Jerry, Jennifer, and Crew
